The AXIS 231D Network Dome Camera provides high quality Motion JPEG and MPEG-4* video simultaneously, with full, remote pan, tilt and zoom control over IP networks. It is ideal for professional surveillance and remote monitoring applications. The AXIS 231D features an 18x optical zoom, autofocus lens and delivers video in light conditions down to 0.3 lux. It enables a 360-degree pan and supports 20 preset positions and 1 sequence. The network dome camera provides alarm inputs and outputs, advanced event management functions, and security features such as HTTPS and IP address filtering.

Full frame rate: up to 25/30 frames per second for all resolutions
Supports simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 streams (MPEG-4 is available as a free software upgrade in Q1 2005)
Built-in 18x optical + 12x digital zoom lens with autofocus
I/O: 4 alarm inputs + 4 outputs
HTTPS for encrypted communications
