Sony introduces its new series of HD camera

Sony's most recent HD range consists of three different series. At the top of the range is the V series, which offers the highest picture quality. It is ideally suited for transport and city surveillance customers, as it incorporates Sony's pioneering View-DR technology, which overcomes the common problems associated with strong backlighting, especially in entrances.

The E series is a standard range that offers strong HD picture quality for general applications such as office buildings, educational institutions, banks and healthcare facilities.

Finally, the X series is an entry-level range offering simplicity and cost efficiency for smaller applications, such as retail outlets and residential dwellings. Through these three series, Sony can offer an HD solution to suit every application and installation scenario.

Sony remains the only technology provider capable of delivering both the cameras and the additional technology features, which enable customers to realise full value from their investments.
