Providing St. Peter's Primary Health Care Centre with a flexible 24/7 security solution from Honeywell

St. Peter’s Primary Health Care centre opened  in Burnley, Lancashire in 2006 to provide community services that include GP practices, out-of-hours services, community nursing and a minor surgery unit in one central location while  delivering cost  savings for the NHS  and driving non emergency services into the community.

With over 5,000 weekly visitors, it is imperative that the centre’s security, both of people and data, is properly maintained.

The Eric Wright Group, which oversees the management of the facility and installer, Black Box Security Alarm Systems Ltd, selected an integrated Honeywell security solution, comprising the WIN-PAK® access control software combined with a Galaxy® Dimension intruder alarm system.

Dawn Willis, East Lancashire Health Trust Centre Manager said, “We needed to provide a reliable and trustworthy solution 24 hours a day whilst having the flexibility for future, cost effective expansion.”

The Honeywell solution ensures access to non-public areas can be strictly controlled, around the clock access control across differing levels of security requirements, real time identification of security breaches and the flexibility for growth and expansion as the Centre’s needs evolve.

The chosen Honeywell solution provides a robust, accurate and proven security system giving peace of mind to the Primary Care Trust at all times.
