PLAZAMEDIA: video Case study

Plaza Media is a full service production company for TV and new media employing about 250 full time staff and 700 freelancers. The challenge was to secure a vast area of 40,000 sqm using a scalable, cost effective and future proof solution. Sony is an innovative service company that Plaza always involves when they want to introduce and develop new products. Plaza chose Sony CS50P because it is a camera which has built-in intelligence and because it offers superior image quality under poor lighting conditions. The intelligent sensors recognise simple movement, movement patterns and the direction o the movement so false alarms.  An intelligent camera will improve the quality of the data, especially with false alarms as only very specific and shorter moments will be recorded.
