SSP now supply narrow style versions of three of their biggest selling exit buttons, the SPB004S, SPB003S and the NT200 As a result of customer feedback and demand, Specialized Security Products have expanded their range of exit buttons. SSP now supply narrow style versions of three of their biggest selling exit buttons, the SPB004S (green dome, high impact button), SPB003S (vandal resistant 25mm stainless steel button) and the NT200 (illuminated infrared no touch button). Also added to the range, are a number of illuminated ‘Piezo’ buttons that work from the charge generated by the action of pressing the switch. This means that there are no moving parts, giving a longer life span that can be tens of millions of operations, as there is no wear involved with them. This also makes the button vandal resistant and greatly reduces any chance of failure. Unique access control solution The final addition to the range is a robust weatherproof (IP55) plastic exit button that is a cost-effective solution for outside areas such as external doors, gates and barriers. Managing director Duncan Easley has said, “It’s important to provide the best possible range available to our customers, the new range of exit buttons provides a more unique approach to access control catering to all of our customer’s needs”. Caterham 7 Supersport has a 1.6-litre Ford Sigma engine and race prepared suspension After several years of successful sponsorship, Specialized Security Products Ltd will be showcasing a Caterham 7 Supersport on their stand at IFSEC International on 14th -17th May. Former Caterham Championship winner Wesley Fox will also be on the Specialized Security Products stand to share his racing experiences in Hall 4, stand E5. The all new Caterham 7 Supersport features a 1.6-litre Ford Sigma engine, five-speed 'sprint' ratio gearing, lightweight flywheel and race-prepared suspension with CR500 Avon tyres on 13" wheels. Weighing just 520kg, and propelled by a Ford powerplant, the Supersport will go from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds and will achieve a top speed of 120mph without breaking a sweat. Equipped with a motorsport-honed limited-slip-differential and geared with sports driving in mind, the Supersport also features uprated springs and dampers borrowed directly from its race car cousin, stiffer anti-roll bars, a track biased dash with an integrated change up light and an aero screen. Wesley Fox, who will be present on the Specialized Security Product’s stand at IFSEC, entered the Caterham Academy in 2010 and won the Group 1 Championship, winning three of the four races and finishing on the podium at each of the 7 events during the year. He won the competitive 2011 Roadsport Championship, winning 8 out of 14 races throughout the year. Wesley also competed in the 2011 Caterham Supersport Championship, qualifying second on the grid and went on to win proving his dominance in all steps of the Caterham ladder. The new range, already available to view online at www.specialized-security.co.uk, and from a recently published ‘Access Cards & Readers Brochure’, features a variety of Mifare HID and EM access cards and readers. Specialized Security Products Ltd will be showcasing the latest range on stand E5 Hall 4 at IFSEC International at the NEC in Birmingham from May 14 to 17. USB Readers: Ideal for computing and printer interfacing, these readers include Mifare, Prox, and HID compatible ranges.
