NSSLGlobal partners with Royal Navy Rugby League

NSSLGlobal, a pioneering independent full-service project engineering, satcom and systems integrator, announces a partnership with the Royal Navy Rugby League (RNRL). The collaboration supports the growth of its Seniors, Women’s and Academy squads, reinforcing NSSLGlobal’s commitment to the Armed Forces community. RNRL benefits The RNRL benefits from a funding injection over the course of three years The RNRL benefits from a funding injection over the course of three years, which will primarily be invested in subsidising the playing schedule, playing kits and medical support.  With the league priding itself on ensuring parity across each of its teams, the funds will also be used to subsidise a warm weather training camp for the women’s team this year. RNRL’s long-term ambition The investment by NSSLGlobal will also help contribute to RNRL’s long-term ambition “We have a 45-year track record of work with the MOD, and a 42-year partnership specifically with the Royal Navy. It’s fantastic for that to extend further with sponsorship of the RNRL, which is doing so much for increasing participation in sport among the Armed Forces,” says Adam Carter, Programme Director, NSSLGlobal. The investment by NSSLGlobal will also help contribute to RNRL’s long-term ambition to play competitive Rugby League at a level surpassing the standard of the Army and Royal Air Force, across both male and female teams. Tremendous success over the last few years The RNRL was originally established in 1997, and in total there are over seventy male and over twenty-five female players registered with the Rugby Football League playing the sport in the Royal Navy. The teams have achieved tremendous success over the last few years, with the Seniors reaching the fourth round of the Challenge Cup in 2022 and winning the Inter Service Championships in 2022, 2023 and the Academy securing a hat trick of Inter Services titles in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

NSSLGlobal GmbH receives a contract to provide mobile satellite and radio communications with 24/7 support from the Bavarian State Ministry

Through a public tender process, the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sports and Integration has awarded NSSLGlobal GmbH a contract to provide mobile satellite and radio communications with 24/7 support. In addition, the Bavarian government, police, firefighting schools, counties, independent cities and special-purpose associations for fire and rescue services are entitled to order products and services from this framework agreement.  This contract with NSSLGlobal GmbH services will help strengthen the communications infrastructure of the Free State of Bavaria by providing the resources and support needed to ensure the state's public institutions can operate with critical communications, especially during emergencies and disaster relief.
