Keepit AI truth cloud: Transforming enterprise data

Keepit, a SaaS data protection provider, announces AI Truth Cloud, the next evolution of its platform, transforming backup from a compliance requirement into the most trusted, strategically valuable data asset an organisation can hold. As AI agents take on business-critical decisions, AI Truth Cloud positions Keepit as the sovereign source of truth that enterprise AI can safely build on: data that is verifiable, governed, immutable, and proven. Keepit holds something AI vendors cannot replicate: a complete, sovereign, immutable, and tamper-proof copy of an organisation’s data - every version, across the protected application - stored in a vendor-independent cloud that no third party influences. That independence is the foundation of the “truth”: The AI Truth Cloud enables organisations to verify the authenticity, provenance, and integrity of data before it is ingested into any AI system, ensuring that the AI reasoning over their business is reasoning over data they can actually trust. Complete data foundation Enterprise data protection has evolved steadily from tape-based backup to disaster recovery and cyber resilience. With AI Truth Cloud, Keepit establishes the next step: from passive backup to a proactive trust fabric for verified, governed, and sovereign data. “Organisations are making high-stakes decisions based on what their AI tells them. But data that can’t be verified shouldn’t be acted on. AI Truth Cloud gives enterprises an independent, tamper-proof, and provably complete data foundation - one that AI can safely reason from, one that organisations can prove the integrity of and roll back to a known-good state from when a decision goes wrong. Verifying the truth before you act, and recovering it when you didn't. That is what it means to own the truth,” said Frederik Schouboe, Co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Keepit. Enterprise trust fabric The AI Truth Cloud platform is organised around five pillars: Protect; Observe; Recover; Prove; and Integrate. These replace the backup and recovery story with a complete framework for data trust. Three core capabilities form the immediate roadmap foundation: AI Connector Backup extends Keepit’s proven data protection to the AI tools enterprises already depend on - including agent configurations, AI skills, projects, and models - with point-in-time restore for any AI asset. That same immutable foundation becomes the verified recovery point when an AI agent behaves unexpectedly or is compromised. Keepit MCP (Model Context Protocol) platform is designed as a headless API layer that connects Keepit to any AI tool or workflow. It enables AI systems to query, audit, and interact with managed data programmatically. It positions Keepit not as a passive repository, but as an active node in the enterprise trust fabric. Keepit AI Safe Room addresses one of enterprise AI’s most pressing risks: running AI models directly on live production data. AI Safe Room provides an immutable Keepit copy of data as a pristine, isolated environment for AI training, inference, and testing, without putting production data at risk. If a model, prompt, or agent produces unintended results, it’s possible to do a full rollback: production remains untouched and recovery is immediate. Looking ahead, Keepit is developing additional capabilities across all five pillars - including AI agent behavioural monitoring, automated compliance evidence generation, cryptographic data provenance, and AI-powered threat rollback - each extending the platform’s role as the trusted data layer for enterprise AI. Building on a growing foundation AI Truth Cloud is not a change of direction for Keepit, it is the next frontier made possible by Keepit’s growing data foundation. Keepit will continue expanding connector coverage as organisations transition to AI-driven and agentic workflows, with protecting the data AI agents create and consume representing the next wave of protection needs. Alongside this, Keepit is introducing an ISV partnership strategy enabling software vendors to embed sovereignty, immutability, governance, and trusted AI capabilities directly into their own products through deep integrations with the Keepit platform - establishing Keepit as the underlying trust layer across the enterprise software ecosystem. For Keepit customers already running AI on a verified data foundation, that shift is not theoretical: “Knowing that our AI is working from a verified, immutable source changes the conversation from risk management to competitive advantage. Keepit has become a foundational part of how we think about data integrity for AI,” said Tom Hicks, Senior Manager, Identity, Quanta Services. Detailed capability announcements Keepit's channel partners are seeing the same demand from their own customers. "Our customers - especially in the public sector - are asking how they can use AI responsibly and demonstrate that to regulators. AI Truth Cloud changes that conversation from aspiration to practice. With an auditable, protected data layer built in, we can help organisations deploy AI at scale without compromising on governance or recoverability," said Jonny Scott, Head of Cyber Advisory, Phoenix More detailed capability announcements, roadmap milestones, and partner program updates will follow in subsequent releases.

Keepit appoints new CRO for global expansion

Keepit, the world’s only vendor-independent cloud-native SaaS data protection platform, announces the appointment of James Dwyer as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, Dwyer will lead Keepit’s global revenue organisation, with responsibility for scaling international go-to-market execution across sales, partnerships, customer success, renewals, and business development. Keepit is expanding at a time when organisations are more dependent than ever on SaaS applications, and when protecting and restoring business-critical data has become a board-level priority. At the same time, regulatory expectations and the rapid adoption of AI are increasing both data volumes and operational risk, putting renewed focus on resilience: keeping data available, trustworthy, and recoverable when disruptions occur. Key inflection points “James is a modern, people-first leader with a strong track record of scaling global go-to-market organisations at key inflection points,” said Morten Felsvang, CEO and co-founder of Keepit. “He understands what it takes to turn momentum into sustained performance, while building a high-accountability culture that keeps the customer at the centre. We’re excited to welcome James to Keepit as we continue our international expansion and help more organisations secure access to their SaaS data, no matter what the future holds.” Dwyer joins Keepit with senior leadership experience across the data security, data access, and data management ecosystem. He has built and scaled go-to-market teams through periods of rapid change, helping organisations translate technology differentiation into predictable growth. Business-critical SaaS data “Across my career, there’s been a consistent theme: data is the foundation companies are built on, and protecting it and ensuring access to it is mission critical,” said James Dwyer, Chief Revenue Officer at Keepit. “What drew me to Keepit is the combination of a high-stakes problem, strong market momentum, and a focused solution, delivered by a team with the talent and ambition to win. Keepit’s technology stands out because it’s purpose-built for the reality organisations face today: the need for dependable data protection, rapid recovery, and confidence that their business-critical SaaS data remains available.” Reality organisations face today Dwyer said the market is at an inflection point driven by deeper SaaS reliance, growing sovereignty and compliance requirements, and AI-enabled automation. He will focus on driving Keepit’s international growth by strengthening execution across markets and channels and deepening relationships with customers and partners who view data resilience as strategic. Felsvang added: “AI is changing how fast decisions are made and how quickly errors can propagate. That makes reliable backup and recovery, and confidence in your data, more important than ever. Keepit is built for that reality, and James will help us advance our business globally, to meet those needs.” Scalable revenue operations “We’re entering an inflection point where SaaS and AI are changing not just how data is created and used, but how quickly risk can spread,” Dwyer continued. “AI agents can accelerate operations, but they can also amplify mistakes and cascade misconfigurations faster than many organisations are prepared for. That’s why data resilience - knowing you can restore what matters, quickly and confidently - has become a defining capability. I’m excited to help Keepit scale globally and support customers as they navigate this new era.” Based in South Carolina, James Dwyer will work closely with Keepit’s leadership team to accelerate global execution across markets, channels, and customer segments - building aligned teams and scalable revenue operations as the company continues to grow.
