Gunnebo Entrance Control has acquired Safe Products SARL, a Paris-based specialist in entrance control installation and service, strengthening its presence in one of Europe's largest and fastest-growing entrance control markets. France is the second-largest entrance control market in Europe, with the Paris region accounting for approximately 70% of national demand. With an established customer base, growing service portfolio and strong local presence, Safe Products SARL brings additional expertise and capacity to Gunnebo Entrance Control's operations. Entrance control systems Founded in 2017, Safe Products SARL has established a strong reputation for the installation, maintenance and servicing of entrance control systems and associated security solutions. The company serves across a range of sectors, including critical infrastructure, government and commercial environments and has built a growing portfolio of recurring service contracts. Entrance control performance The acquisition follows Gunnebo Entrance Control’s purchase of Diadem under the leadership of Thomas Prost, reflecting a continued investment in service-led growth and its ambition to enhance lifecycle support capabilities. To meet latest compliance, sustainability and customer requirements, demand is increasing for partners who can provide ongoing maintenance, upgrades and support to maximise entrance control performance throughout a system's lifecycle. Blanca Sebastia, EVP Commercial Excellence & GM Europe, Gunnebo Entrance Control added: “The addition of Safe Products SARL strengthens our ability to support customers locally in a market where service quality, responsiveness and long-term partnership are increasingly important. Their expertise and customer-focused approach make them a strong complement to our existing operations in France." Comprehensive entrance control services By combining Safe Products SARL’s local market knowledge and customer relationships with Diadem and Gunnebo Entrance Control's broader capabilities and resources, and integrating these strengths within its French organisation, the business will be better positioned to support customers across France with comprehensive entrance control services. Gunnebo Entrance Control has launched HiSec Nova, a new security portal introducing three newly developed technologies covering occupancy detection, drive control and system intelligence. Developed for environments where organisations require effective control of authorised entrance without the need for ballistic or attack-rated protection, HiSec Nova combines advanced detection capabilities with a compact footprint together with simplified installation and servicing. Advanced security portal Says Emiliano Ciantra, Product Manager at Gunnebo Entrance Control: "HiSec Nova was developed from the ground up around three priorities: detection accuracy, aesthetic design and ease of ownership. We wanted to take a fresh look at how a security portal performs, how it is maintained and how it can be integrated into different environments. The result is a system that simplifies installation and servicing while delivering the levels of detection and control organisations expect from an advanced security portal." At the centre of the system is Visira™, a newly developed detection technology available in two configurations. Using high-density digital sensing technology and engineered algorithms, VisiraTM verifies occupancy within the portal to support accurate single person detection. Complex access scenarios For applications requiring enhanced analysis, Visira™ Omni combines dual-camera technology with AI-driven image analytics to deliver volumetric 3D passage analysis and accurate people counting. Unlike traditional volume-based systems, it can distinguish between individuals and carried items, helping to maintain detection accuracy in more complex access scenarios. HiSec Nova also introduces SmoothDrive™, a newly developed drive mechanism engineered to improve portal operation and long-term performance. The system delivers controlled, near-silent movement, while integrated impact detection contributes to both user safety and system durability. Rapid system responses Supporting these technologies is NexusCore™, a new electronics architecture that processes information in milliseconds, enabling rapid system responses while coordinating sensing, control and mechanical functions throughout the portal. Emiliano concluded: "The development of HiSec Nova provided an opportunity to rethink several of the core technologies that sit behind security portal performance. By bringing together new approaches, we have been able to enhance performance while simplifying installation, servicing and day-to-day operation.” "We also wanted to reduce complexity for the teams responsible for installing and maintaining the system. By improving access to key electrical and mechanical components, HiSec Nova supports faster installation, simpler servicing and reduced maintenance requirements over the lifetime of the portal."
