Dowshu, the digital recording company, has taken its comprehensive DVR range another step forward, maintaining its lead in this competitive market.  Not only do they offer 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 channel, stand-a-lone, machines but with their NDMS (Network DVR Management System) up to 100 machines can be controlled via one DVR from a single location.  That means the potential to control 6,400 channels of video!

Central to DOWSHU's success has been their DVR's unprecedented recording and live viewing speeds.  Even on the 64 channel machines, video from all cameras can be viewed "real time" at 25 FPS.  In record mode, 400 FPS speeds are possible - that means real time playback on up to 16 channels of video at once.

"Our products' recording speeds lead the market", stated Glen Higson, newly appointed CEO for Dowshu.  "Customers expect high quality video from DOWSHU, but features such as Point of Sale monitoring, which relates POS information to recorded video, add significant extra system value for end users"

"After video quality, easy retrieval of recorded information has been our focus" continued Glen.  "We include ‘motion', ‘even', ‘status' and ‘object' searches and the new ‘preview' search, which enables a user to search from a full day of video to the nearest minute in three mouse clicks, is testament to our understanding of how our machines are used in the field".

Dowshu has also introduced a removable BNC docking plate at the back of their machines meaning that all BNC connections remain intact even if the DVR is removed for routine maintenance or for upgrade.

Dowshu will be exhibiting at IFSEC, stand number U105.
