Nottingham's premier events venue, Colwick Hall, has appointed Octavian Security to provide manned guarding and stewarding for its numerous high-profile functions and events.

This contract will see Octavian's security officers patrolling and guarding the grounds during events at the historic Hall.  This will include managing the Hall's car park, aiding guests upon arrival, monitoring sound levels in compliance with environmental health legislation and most importantly, due to the public right of way, patrolling the rear of the Hall's extensive 60 acre grounds.

Octavian's officers will primarily be servicing functions and events such as weddings, award evenings, graduation ceremonies, business awards, state banquets and private parties.

This is the first major hotel contract that Nottingham based Octavian has worked on, but the firm does have extensive experience in event stewarding for major events such as Scottish Premier League football matches, the Ryder Cup and numerous prestigious BBC live events.

Sukhi Ghuman, Octavian Security's managing director, says of the new contract:

"Octavian prides itself on the versatility and professionalism of its guards and so a contract which requires us to perform multifunctional roles is ideal - allowing us to not only deliver top level security, but also ensure that guests are well catered for and enjoying themselves in a safe, sanguine environment."

"All officers deployed on this contract will have been trained at our in-house SITO registered training facility in stewarding and customer care skills - as we appreciate that we are working as part of Colwick Hall's team to help provide the best customer experience possible for its guests."
