The International Security Cooperation Summit 2014 is proud to bring together ministers, police, customs, regulatory agencies, crime investigators and prosecutors from the Arab Gulf States, Latin America, Caribbean and Africa in a unique opportunity to share experiences, learn from each other and develop policy relevant strategies. The Summit is designed to enhance collaboration and increase interoperability between the domestic and international security agencies which is the need of the hour especially for the mentioned regions. The fast spreading networks of organized crime and the rise in collaboration between cartels, automatically necessitates that the security agencies from these region collaborate in their fight in detecting, curbing and mitigating security risks.
The Summit encourages regional and international security cooperation to effectively counter transnational security threats. It also standardises protocols to enable smooth collaboration in sharing intelligence and inter departmental as well as intra agency operations.
