Fire & Emergency Middle East 2014
Forward solutions for Fire, Emergency and Responses
Fire and Emergency Middle East 2014 is dedicated to the regional public and private emergency industry. Supported by the UAE Civil Defence and endorsed by UL, FEM provides an ideal platform for sourcing the latest technologies and solutions for firefighting, protection, emergency medical services, first response and public safety.
A recent study by Frost & Sullivan, the global business research and consulting firm, has estimated the Middle East's fire and safety market will reach US$ 1.12 billion this year.
In the past few years, the region has been experiencing a major shift in the number of residents and tourists. As a result cities expanded and infrastructure was set in place to cater for the change. This put pressure on many countries to reconsider their fire and emergency capabilities, to ensure public safety and improve their capabilities of handling crisis situations. As a result, evaluation was posed to address the effectiveness of the emergency plans set in place and the ability and availability of their people and equipment to meet the challenges.
