HID Global, a leading manufacturer in the access control industry, today announced that it has increased its sales support for the EMEA region with the appointment of Rob Pattiwaël as regional sales manager.  Pattiwaël will be based in the Netherlands, with sales responsibilities for the Benelux territory, comprising Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

‘'I am able to offer my extensive experience working for installers and have good knowledge of the security market in the Netherlands and the Benelux.  I am aware of customer requirements and expectations and I am sure that using our strong product portfolio, we will be able to fulfill their needs, said Rob Pattiwaël.  "HID Global's iCLASS® and MIFARE products provide a strong platform for increasing the smart card business in the region."

Fluent in Dutch and English, Pattiwaël will support HID's EMEA team, reporting to Harm Radstaak, director of sales for Western Europe.

Prior to joining HID, Pattiwaël worked for the Swedish Gunnebo Group as sales manager for their outdoor perimeter security business line.  Before that position, he held a sales manager position at VNP Parking Systems.

Rob holds a NIMA A in Sales from the Dutch Institute of Marketing along with a MTS technical study.
