|Model Info||The reader provides multi-technology card processing. 44,000 card or credential storage is standard and the EdgeReader ERP40 takes commands directly from the host, with 255 custom priorities for supervised inputs/alarms. Network access is CAT-5 for communications and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The EdgeReader can be fully integrated into any host system utilizing an IP network. As with all Edge IP Access Solutions, the ERP40 incorporates the HID OPIN Technology and TCP/IP API with an available Windows® DLL tool. And includes an RS-232 serial port for optional back-up via modem.|
