| DIGIgarde, TDSi's optical finger print reader, is a highly accurate, fast and easy to use unit, providing installers, managers, administrators and users with a wide range of operational benefits: Easy enrolment - Fast and accurate enrolment is achieved either through the reader itself, or via a separate USB scanner - used in conjunction with TDSi's eXguard PRO software.
- A low cost solution, the USB scanner negates the need to purchase a separate DIGIgarde reader purely for enrolment.
- The use of eXguard PRO also allows multiple templates to be enrolled for each user, meaning the reader can recognise and match from one up to ten digits.
Superior performance - DIGIgarde's high resolution, 500dpi optical sensor provides fast and accurate scanning of prints, capable of accommodating fingers of all size. The sensor ensures that a quick and positive registration is achieved on the scanning platen, providing user confidence.
- Using a high speed matching algorithm, DIGIgarde ensures that users' fingerprints are quickly captured and compared, keeping user waiting times to an absolute minimum. This also makes the unit extremely tolerant to finger placement - fingers may be placed at angles up to 90° without compromising scanning or matching speed and accuracy.
High capacity - With its large memory capacity, DIGIgarde is capable of storing up to 9,000 templates.
