The Sony SSC-G108 fixed analogue colour camera delivers the image quality that users need through a combination of its high resolution of 540 horizontal TV lines and its high sensitivity (0.15lx, F1.2, 50IRE) achieved by a1/3-type “Super HAD CCD II” sensor and Sony’s new digital signal processor, “Effio-E”, as well as electronic Day/Night function to switch modes automatically. The camera utilises a range of technologies to adjust the images to their maximum clarity and usability: Automatic Tone Reproduction Lite (ATR-Lite) compensates for gradation of subjects to an optimum level; i-Back Light Compensation (iBLC) counteracts exposure levels in dark scenes; and Automatic Tracing White (ATW) balance adjusts the camera’s white balance to adapt to sudden changes in lighting conditions.
