Videcon has announced the launch of a "no-frills" Digital Recorder that offers multiplexing and hard disk recording for less cost than a traditional VCR and multiplexer combination.

The embedded front panel control allows users to browse through pre-recorded images and access simple set-up menus and search facilities.
