At SicherheitsExpo in Munich, Germany, Dallmeier will showcase innovative solutions for large-area video surveillance at booth G01. The main focus will be on the Panomera® V8, which has been specifically developed for applications requiring not only the highest image quality, but also powerful video analytics capabilities.

The Panomera® V8 combines multifocal sensor technology with integrated AI-based video analytics, making it ideally suited for monitoring large areas. Thanks to the unique system architecture, consistently high resolution is maintained across long distances – a key requirement for reliable object recognition and object classification.

Continuous data foundation

A key differentiator of the Panomera® V8 is its seamless 180° field of view without blind spot. At the same time, the neural networks of the eight integrated AI chips are logically linked together. This creates a consistent and continuous data foundation for video analytics. Typical weaknesses of many video analytics systems, such as incomplete, patchy, or duplicate image data, are effectively avoided.

Thanks to the patented multifocal sensor technology, significantly larger areas can be monitored with fewer systems compared to conventional single-sensor cameras. This has a direct impact on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Fewer cameras mean reduced infrastructure, installation, and operating costs while maintaining high-quality analytics results. Especially in applications such as critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, or logistics areas, the Panomera® V8 offers clear economic advantages.

Reducing false alarms

In addition, the combination of high image quality and intelligent analytics ensures precise detection of relevant events while significantly reducing false alarms – even in complex and large-scale scenarios.

EIZO will also be present as a co-exhibitor at booth G01. The monitor manufacturer’s IP decoder solutions are compatible with Dallmeier cameras and enable direct access to live camera images without additional video management requirements. This allows the high-resolution images from Dallmeier systems to be displayed directly and in full quality on EIZO monitors. The EIZO portfolio includes both monitors with integrated decoding and a standalone box solution that can be flexibly combined with different screen sizes and resolutions up to 4K UHD.

Practical application scenarios

Visitors to SicherheitsExpo will have the opportunity to experience the performance of Dallmeier technology and its interaction with EIZO solutions live on site. Experts from Dallmeier and EIZO will be available for individual consultations and will demonstrate practical application scenarios for a wide range of industries.

In 1984, Dieter Dallmeier founded what is now Dallmeier electronic – not in the proverbial garage, but in a garden shed in Regensburg, Germany. Today, the company, which can justifiably call itself a hidden champion for video information technology "Made in Germany", has several hundred employees worldwide, more than 250 of them at the company headquarters in the center of Regensburg alone.

Multifocal sensor technology

Dallmeier's camera, recording, software, and analysis solutions optimise security and processes for B2B end customers in a wide range of industries in over 60 countries. The focus is on users from the casino, smart city, airports, logistics, stadiums, and industrial sectors. But also, banks, critical infrastructure facilities as well as medium-sized companies from all sectors.

With pioneering innovations, Dallmeier has succeeded time and again in placing itself at the forefront of technology: From the world's first digital image storage system with motion analysis in 1992, the patented "multifocal sensor technology" Panomera® with its "Mountera®" mounting system, to the latest Domera® camera family, which allows up to 300 camera variants with only 18 components. These and many other innovations provide real, tangible customer benefits. And with a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and a high Return on Investment (ROI) they can easily compete with systems produced and supplied from low-wage countries.

With "Made in Germany", they also guarantee the customers the highest standards in data protection, cybersecurity, and ethical responsibility. With high quality and short supply chains, they also ensure – almost incidentally – sustainability and environmental protection.

From the prestigious headquarters in the center of Regensburg, Dallmeier not only carries out its own research and development but also the complete manufacturing process – from component to product to solution.
