Securitas Technology, the world’s pioneering commercial electronic security company, selected the Gary Sinise Foundation as its charity of choice during the Global Security Exchange Conference (GSX) in September 2025. Securitas Technology team members were on hand to present a check to the leadership of the Gary Sinise Foundation at their headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.

The Foundation, established in 2011 by actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise, serves and honors veterans, first responders, and their families, received a significant donation from Securitas Technology, driven by the number of visitors who engaged with the company’s booth during the event.

The initiative reflects the company’s broader commitment to social responsibility and its purpose to help make the world a safer place.

Values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness

At Securitas Technology, our purpose is to help make your world a safer place — and that includes supporting those who dedicate their lives to protecting others,” said Tony Byerly, Global President & CEO, Securitas Technology. “We’re honoured to contribute to the Gary Sinise Foundation and the incredible work they do for our nation’s heroes.”

The response from GSX attendees was a key driver of the donation. “Our conversations with attendees at GSX 2025 were inspiring,” Byerly added. “It was a powerful reminder of how our industry can come together to make a meaningful impact beyond business — and we’re proud to turn that engagement into action.”

This effort underscores Securitas Technology’s values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, and highlights the company’s belief that safety is not only about technology — it’s about people, purpose, and community.
