Zetron’s VMS has the ability to handle as few as 20 cameras and as many as 2,000

Zetron, a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions worldwide, announced that it is adding the AVfusion networked audio-and-video recording system and Aiphone’s IX Series audio-video intercom systems to its suite of Video Surveillance and Security offerings. Zetron will be demonstrating these solutions at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) being held March 21-25, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The demos will allow attendees to see firsthand how these systems simplify the gathering, organisation, and use of important audio/video information and improve facility security and safety.

Zetron AVfusion recording system

AVfusion is a self-contained, networked, audio-and-video recording system that Zetron is demonstrating at IWCE for the first time this year. Easy to install and configure, AVfusion is the perfect solution for interrogation rooms and situations where conversations may be used as evidence. It is also an effective tool for capturing important conversations in a variety of other environments, such as public-safety agencies, healthcare and HR organisations, and education and training settings. One of its most powerful features is its ability to “stitch” audio and video together so they remain synchronised no matter how many times the video is viewed or played back. It also digitally watermarks recordings to ensure their authenticity.

Video management software solution

Aiphone’s IX Series audio-video intercom systems are network-based communication and security systems that support video entry security, internal communication, emergency stations, and paging. All units and apps in the systems can unlock doors remotely over a network, assist onsite visitors from an offsite location, and broadcast emergency announcements.

Zetron’s Video Management Software (VMS) solution will also be on display at IWCE. The video feeds VMS brings into the control room add important information about critical situations. Video Management Software is available with a range of compatible cameras and network video recorders that are suitable for a variety of types of customers and applications. Able to handle as few as 20 cameras and as many as 2,000, VMS is easy to use and keeps information organised. Options include integrated access control, a mapping feature, and the ability to access information from tablets or phones.

“Zetron is embracing audio-video solutions and making them available to customers because of the vast benefits they offer and the richness of the intelligence they can provide,” said Kathy Broadwell, Zetron’s V.P. and General Manager of Video Security and Security Solutions. “We see them as critical components of the control room of the future.”
