This initiative will benefit the Community Food & Outreach Center of Central Florida

AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry’s premier provider of highly trained security personnel which employs over 65,000 security professionals nationwide, will create a sustainable trade show display at the 2014 Every Building Conference & Expo, presented by BOMA International and Buildings magazine. This initiative will benefit the Community Food & Outreach Center of Central Florida, which provides a range of services for their clients who are struggling through unemployment, hunger, housing difficulties, and more. AlliedBarton will be exhibiting at Booth #907 at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center from June 22-24, 2014.

“Instead of shipping a traditional trade show booth, we have purchased furniture and carpet locally to create our exhibit space, therein reducing our carbon footprint and helping a local non-profit organization,” says Mike Coleman, BOMA Fellow and Vice President, Commercial Real Estate, AlliedBarton. “Following the trade show, these items will be donated to the Community Food & Outreach Center. This is our ninth consecutive BOMA show where we've been able to support a local organization with a large furniture donation.”

"We are so very appreciative of AlliedBarton’s generous donation of furniture and other items to our organization and the families we serve in Central Florida,” said Scott George, co-founder of the Community Food & Outreach Center. “Our mission to serve the ‘working poor’ families and children has been given a tremendous boost by AlliedBarton’s gift as we continue to offer help and hope to those struggling in these difficult economic times."
