| Kurt Takahashi to oversee the management of existing systems integrator relationships |
Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, recently announced that Kurt Takahashi has joined the company as Director of Strategic Accounts for the Americas region. In this role, he will oversee the management of existing systems integrator relationships and build new ones to drive increased awareness of Arecont Vision’s megapixel technology. Mr. Takahashi most recently served as Group Director of Sales for Tyco's Integrated Solution Sales Team (formerly known as ADT Commercial Security).

While at Tyco, Mr. Takahashi held various strategic positions within the sales organisation, including Group Director of Sales and Director of Sales for the National Accounts team in the West. Over a 17-year career, Mr. Takahashi has developed sales programs and strategies for the retail, commercial, industrial, financial and government markets, as well as building national and global account programs across a wide range of vertical markets. Most recently, his focus was on megapixel deployments where he was integral in specifying Arecont Vision products for key global end-users. Mr. Takahashi is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.

As Arecont Vision’s new Director of Strategic Accounts, Mr. Takahashi will work side-by-side with the North and South America sales teams, including manufacturers' representatives. Together, they will drive national end-user demand and work closely with national systems integrators to successfully deploy Arecont Vision solutions.
