MegaVideo® G5 cameras include Arecont Vision’s groundbreaking STELLAR low light technology

Arecont Vision®, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, is showcasing its new MegaVideo® G5 Megapixel Cameras here at ISC West. MegaVideo® G5 cameras include Arecont Vision’s groundbreaking STELLAR™ (Spatio TEmporal Low Light ARchitecture) Low Light Technology. This is the company’s fifth generation of MegaVideo® camera systems.

Available in single sensor configurations in 1.2MP, 1080p, 3MP, 5MP, and 10MP resolutions, optional remote focus/zoom p-iris lenses have also been added for use with MegaVideo® G5 Megapixel Cameras.

On-board storage:

Arecont Vision® has also enhanced MegaVideo® G5 with on-board SDMC card storage up to 32GB, and with CorridorView™ which allows the camera image to be rotated 90 degrees for increased coverage of hallways and corridors. MegaVideo® G5 cameras also feature the ability to scale images to different resolutions to better meet system bandwidth and storage requirements.

Additional feature highlights of the MegaVideo® G5 camera lineup include a dual sensor 3MP WDR and 1.2MP B/W day/night camera for superior performance in the most difficult lighting conditions. Other features are optional Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) up to 100dB at full resolution for 1080p and 3MP models, binning mode for enhanced low light performance for 3MP, 5MP, and 10MP models, and Casino Mode™ in 1080p models that maintains 30fps. Also included are privacy mask, motion detection, flexible cropping, bit rate control, multi-streaming, forensic zooming, non-integer scaling, dual encoder H.264/MJPEG compression, and true mechanical day/night functionality.
