Veracity, a leading provider of innovative, intelligent solutions that solve real-world IP video challenges in transmission, storage and display, has announced the successful installation of its COLDSTORE™ surveillance storage systems at The Star complex, a set of administration buildings, practice fields and player complex supporting the Dallas Cowboys football team of the National Football league in the United States. These COLDSTORE™ units join those already installed at the AT&T Stadium. Formerly known as Cowboys Stadium, the city-owned 101,000-seat capacity stadium with a retractable roof in Arlington, Texas, United States serves as the game-day home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) as well as a location for events ranging from concerts to motorcycle racing.
An innovative Network Attached Storage system
Veracity COLDSTORE™ is an innovative Network Attached Storage (NAS) system designed for video surveillance systems requiring long duration archives with the highest levels of reliability. The revolutionary sequential storage system typically offers a 90% power saving versus RAID with much higher reliability and a lossless failover technology that removes the need for time consuming rebuilds of failed drives by instead utilising an instant hot swap disk technology.
Offered as a 3U high, 120TB unit that uses only 0.5W per Terabyte; COLDSTORE™ is also a part of the innovative TRINITY™ architecture that eliminates the need for Network Video Recorder (NVR) servers by allowing IP cameras to record directly to the COLDSTORE™ sequential recording system.
