|Surveon's Failover function ensures no video loss through collaborative NVRs within the system, enhancing banking surveillance
Surveon, the end-to-end IP surveillance solution provider, have announced that their NVR product line will start to support Failover function, ensuring no video loss through collaborative NVRs within the system. Without using spare NVR, Surveon Failover solution allows failover NVR to be able to work normally and only use failover licenses to take over recording from the failed NVR when needed, making it a best C/P solution for mission-critical applications like banking surveillance.
Flexible system architecture
Distinguished from other failover solutions, Surveon provides a flexible system architecture to implement mutual recording backup among multiple NVRs without keeping a spare one just for this purpose. The failover NVR not only supports video recording, but also provides seamless live view and playback of the videos from the failed NVR if the videos are recorded to the external storage. As long as the camera licenses plus failover licenses do not exceed the maximum supporting channels, the Failover NVR is capable of serving as a reliable backup in time for other protected NVRs once system beak down or corruption is detected.
Despite the fact that recording backup is important in terms of storage application, it plays an even more critical role for banking surveillance. To secure customers' financial assets and safety for all people during the transaction, banking surveillance cannot afford to miss any second of the video recorded by the system. To cope with the scalable system required by the banks, Surveon Failover solution allows one or multiple NVRs to perform recording backup to each other, creating a flexible structure for different situations. In addition to RAID NVR with failover function and large capacity for 1-year non-stop recording, Surveon banking solutions also offers megapixel compact series camera with WDR and Enterprise VMS with powerful central management function to make sure every detail is perfectly saved under this reliable and scalable surveillance system.
Surveon banking solutions have been successfully adapted by Agribank, the largest commercial bank in Vietnam. “Surveon, with its end-to-end open megapixel solutions, fully understands our concerns regarding megapixel integration and was able to meet the Agribank’s requirements for surveillance quality and stability”, said Le Hong Thanh, Director of Sales at the Tan Binh Minh Investment Trading and Technique Company.
