Security Essen 2012 will provide Canon with the opportunity to meet with existing and prospective partners, distributors, system integrators and resellers to communicate its updated business strategy and vision for the future.

Julian Rutland, Visual Communication Products and Solutions Director, Canon Europe, said: “Security Essen 2012 is a key date in the international security calendar. For us, it provides a great opportunity to show the market what makes Canon’s security surveillance portfolio stand out from the competition. Namely: industry leading image quality, highest available technical specification and a number of features that add value to any customer installation. We will also showcase a brand new series of network camera products, which represents a significant milestone for Canon and a compelling proposition for our partners and their customers.”

Canon has 70 years experience as a high quality lens manufacturer and is a market leader in digital SLR and broadcasting technologies. Canon uses the core technology assets from these areas to develop network cameras which deliver exceptional image quality and capture best in class images in all light conditions. As Canon’s award winning EOS series celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, Canon IP cameras bring together its network expertise with its unique imaging technology.

A host of Canon experts will be available on stand to meet with the industry and answer any questions including: Joe White and Torsten Uebe responsible for Channel Development, and Samantha Bamford and Braam Steyn responsible for Channel Product Support.
