OnSSI’s Ocularis makes active crime interception possible for a surveillance network

OnSSI is showcasing the benefits and advantages delivered through a continually growing list of technology partnerships in their booth at ISC West. This broad technology partner network continues to expand the functionality of OnSSI’s market leading open-architecture and intelligent Ocularis VMS, contributing to the company’s development of innovative new products.

“Ocularis’ open architecture enables easy and productive collaboration with the industry’s top technology innovators,” said Gadi Piran, President and CTO, OnSSI. “Our technology partners provide solid foundations we can build on to create groundbreaking new features and functionality for Ocularis, as well as the development of innovative new products we can bring to market.”

Partnerships featured in OnSSI’s booth include:

Agent Vi has partnered with OnSSI to offer end-to-end intelligent video surveillance solutions. savVi, Agent Vi’s unified video analytics software solution for real-time detections and alerts, video search and business intelligence applications, is fully integrated with OnSSI’s video recording and management platform. The integrated solution enables end users to significantly increase the usability and functionality of their surveillance systems for improved security, safety and business operations.

C2P combines Ocularis video management with a wide variety of IP systems including point-of-sale (POS) cash registers, Access Control, License Plate Recognition and automated teller machines (ATMs) into one user interface. Real-time text integration and hypermedia search tools seamlessly integrate time-synchronised IP text streams to associated video of the text events which can be viewed through Ocularis.

ELERTS system with OnSSI’s Ocularis makes active crime interception possible for a surveillance network. When an enabled smartphone submits an incident report, GPS data is matched with a database of camera FoVs so that Ocularis can push live footage of a crime in progress from the camera closest to the incident to the display.

IdentyTech Solutions provides intuitive identity management products and solutions including fingerprint, facial, iris and palm vein sensing technology. Their Multi Biometric management solution is now integrated with Ocularis as its core camera management and supplemental alert investigation platform.

INEX/ZAMIR delivers definitive vehicle identification with real time video when integrated with Ocularis. The INEX/ZAMIR system transforms license plate images into computer-readable data, which can be used by Ocularis to call up real-time video based on the license plate number, or to provide instant notification/alarms for vehicles of interest. The combined technologies provide Ocularis users a single interface to view video and license plate information, and offer conclusive ID of vehicles.

Razberi Technologies offers the patented razberi ServerSwitch appliance, which simplifies video installation by combining the functions of a network video recorder, high-powered Ethernet smart switch and embedded OnSSI Ocularis video management software. The Razberi appliances can be deployed as stand-alone recorders or as a distributed network of remote edge recorders that are centrally managed by Ocularis.

Siklu enhances the performance of Ocularis by delivering faster, better connections through its ultra-high capacity and cost-effective millimeter-wave wireless links. With thousands of units deployed worldwide, Siklu delivers field-proven backhaul solutions based on a groundbreaking all-silicon design that operates in the uncongested 60/70/80 GHz bands. Siklu is currently deploying its next innovation “invisible” backhaul that will enable mass deployment of street-level connectivity including FirstNet ready security networks, small cells and other networked devices.
