Published on 1 August, 2006

Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence, today announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with Dominion Technologies, providers of security solutions for the transportation market in Spain.

Based in Spain, Dominion Technologies, part of the Dominion Group, provides enterprise business applications, telecommunication, automation and security solutions to companies in Spain and Latin America.  Under the terms of the agreement, Dominion Technologies will manage the deployment of Verint's Mobile Video Security Solutions to mass transit customers across Spain.

"We are delighted to incorporate Verint's Mobile Video Solutions in our security portfolio," comments Emilio Garcia, head of Security Technologies, Dominion Technologies.  "Verint's solutions will help our customers better combat the heightened threat of anti-social behaviour and terrorist activity within the mass transit market."

Verint Security Solutions enable government and commercial organisations to enhance security by applying advanced content analytics to extract actionable intelligence from video, audio and other data.  By alerting personnel to potential security threats, Verint's Security Solutions are designed to help organisations prevent security breaches and improve response time.

"We are pleased to have entered into this agreement with Dominion Technologies," comments David Parcell, managing director, EMEA, Verint Systems.  "With the heightened level of security, transportation authorities are looking for effective solutions to better protect their infrastructure and ensure a safe environment for passengers.  Together, Verint and Dominion Technologies are well positioned to provide these solutions."
