AMG launches new range of analogue and digital wireless transmission products at IFSEC 2008

Published on 9 May, 2008

Skywave T, the new transmission system from AMG Systems Ltd., will be launched and demonstrated at IFSEC 2008AMG Systems Ltd. has announced it will launch a new range of analogue and digital wireless transmission products at IFSEC 2008.  The announcement follows AMG's breakthrough in spring 2006 when it launched the AMG 3700 series, the world's first fibre optic transmission system to integrate ethernet with high quality uncompressed video.

SkywaveT will be available for both single and multi-camera systems.  The product series can transmit video, RS485 data, un-directional audio and alarm contacts.

In connection with the announcement, founder and MD of AMG Systems, Alan Hayes, said: "We have found an increasing requirement for wireless transmission capabilities, particularly in the transportation sector, where there is an increased use of wireless CCTV cameras for certain applications.  However, I see many other security applications where wireless technology will fit in."

With its large international audience IFSEC has proved the ideal place for AMG to launch new products over the past few years.  AMG will be showcasing SkywaveT in hall 19 at stand 18126 where visitors will be able to see a live demonstration.
