Mitsubishi Electric, a world leader in the innovative design and manufacture of advanced security solutions, will be exhibiting once again at this year's IFSEC, one of the industry's leading events.
At this year's exhibition, Mitsubishi will be unveiling for the first time in the UK a new range of MPEG-4 digital security recorders as well as a selection of IP cameras, alongside Mitsubishi's highly regarded JPEG2000 DVR range, LCD display panels, large format DLP™ display wall solutions and dye sublimation CCTV printers. Mitsubishi Electric are pleased to be able to offer complete security solutions, from recording to storage and display, suitable for a host of applications including domestic, retail, banking, corporate and the public sector.
A perfect solution as an upgrade from an analogue security system to digital, the DX-TL4E is a 4-channel economically priced DVR that is quick and easy to set up and provides high quality recording and play back functionality. This DVR has an advanced video compression that enables long-term recording with its 100 images per second recording speed.
DX-TL304E, DX-TL308E and DX-TL5716E
The DX-TL304E and DX-TL308E are compact and affordably priced 4- and 8-channel DVRs and the DX-TL5716E is an advanced 16-channel version. All utilise MPEG-4 compression providing reliable 24/7 surveillance.
The 304E and 308E provide real time recording up to 100 frames per second and 200 frames per second respectively. Designed as compact and lightweight solutions, both DVRs can easily and conveniently be installed in virtually any location. With a removable front panel for HDD access, up to two high-capacity HDDs are accommodated inside the unit to ensure a user friendly and easy maintenance DVR. Both models support multiple protocols for PTZ dome cameras.
The DX-TL5716E comes with a recording rate of 400 frames per second and features two built in high capacity HDDs, as well as a built-in USB, CD/DVD-R/RW drive a unique and advanced feature in today's market. All of Mitsubishi's new MPEG-4 recorders come with motion detection, time and date search facility, are easy to install and operate, and can be connected easily to a DX-KB5 keyboard for advanced control.
DX-TL4509E and DX-TL4516E
The DX-TL4509E a 9-channel digital recorder, and the DX-TL4516E, a 16-channel version come equipped with many of the advanced features of Mitsubishi's most advanced and highly regarded DVR, the DX-TL5000E. These include triplex functionality and built in motion detection, as well as a dual monitor output that allows for the simultaneous monitoring of both live and recorded footage on monitor A and B positions. Fully featured, the 4516 come as standard with 800Gb of HDD, and the 4509E with 400GB HDD. Both models can accommodate 2 HDDs internally providing a maximum of 1Tb, assuming 500Gb drives are installed. Up to 7Tb, utilising 500GB HDDs can be added externally using the ZD6UE HDD extender box. Utilising the latest JPEG2000 compression technology for high quality, fine detailed pictures both 9 and 16 channel DVRs come with a built-in USB, CD/DVD-R/RW drive.
Also on display will be the DX-TL5000E, Mitsubishi's advanced 16-channel digital recorder that utilises JPEG2000 technology to ensure high picture quality and efficient image compression. It also boasts a recording rate of up to 200 pictures per second and a viewing rate of 800 pictures per second. The 5000E can be equipped with up to 3 internal hard disks, providing a maximum of 1.5Tb, utilising 500Gb HDDs. The 5000E can accommodate a maximum of 14 DX-ZD6UE HDD extension units, therefore maximising storage capacity up to 15Tb, utilising 500Gb HDDs.
Mitsubishi's most advanced security solution the DS-3000RT digital system will also be on display on stand 13021. This is the ultimate in digital recording and can be created specifically around the user's needs. It can have storage capacity of up to 32Tb and networking capability, providing remote access. Superior picture quality is achievable with each camera capable of capturing 25 FPS without the loss of data in real time recording and the MPEG2 compression method allows up to 800 images per second. The system provides flexible, reliable and consistent surveillance to suit any large networked security application.
IP camera solutions
Mitsubishi will be also be demonstrating their new IP security cameras on the stand. All have been designed as professional network cameras that feature full frame rate and quality settings up to D1. All IP cameras have a recording rate of 25 pictures per second and are compatible with MPEG-4. Available are indoor and outdoor vandal proof dome cameras that can notify an incident via email or FTP as well as internal network cameras that feature high resolution imaging quality, video motion detection and alarm input and output.
Dye sublimination printers
Mitsubishi's high-speed colour dye sublimation printers, complement the rest of the security systems by printing photo quality captured images in a matter of seconds.
There will also be examples from Mitsubishi's range of LCD monitors that have been specifically designed for public display use. The range includes 32", 42" and 46" that all produce high definition, dynamic images accurately, and feature multi-screen display and zooming functions, making them ideal for image and information communication.
Completing the line up will be two display wall solutions, a 2 x 67" SXGA+ side by side display, and the new VS-80PH40U a 80" SXGA+. Both have been built with dual lamp functionality and produce bright, reliable, high quality images ideal for control room applications. These fully featured displays benefit from colour space control for consistent colour blending and uniformity, a dynamic brightness balancing function that measures the brightness levels of each display every two seconds to ensure the levels are the same, as well as a high contrast ratio.
A number of display wall solutions are available including 50" and 67" XGA options with either front or rear access for easy installation.
