|With the new slogan "THE ID NETWORK", LEGIC emphasises the advantages of the partner network for its customers
With its newly updated website, LEGIC Identsystems launches its new identity. The company takes into account the increasingly important software and services offer and strengthens the role of its partner network.
The new LEGIC company website went live on 31st May. It illustrates the strategic decisions of recent years and helps the company to further establish its position as the partner for all players in the chain of value for ID solutions.

The switch to an open platform
A strategic milestone was made in 2003 with the introduction of LEGIC advant – with this, the company detached itself from proprietary prime technologies and focused on ISO standards. With the launch of the 4000 series reader in 2012, LEGIC ensured compatibility with third-party transponders and made a decisive step towards the open technology platform. "For us, the future is in technology-independent platforms", explains Dr. Reinhard Kalla, Vice President Product Marketing & New Business. "For many years, readers from LEGIC can handle different card platforms, e.g. MIFARE."

It is not surprising that software and services have gained an increasingly important position at LEGIC in recent years: "It was a long time ago that we made the transformation from an RF technology supplier to a reliable partner for hardware, software and services", explains Kalla. In recent years, we have been working on bringing the company's identity in line with this.
This also involved the launch of an intuitive Application Designer Software CSW-4000 and setting up a Trusted Service, which allows the cloud-based administration of ID projects and systems and the use of mobile telephones as ID media.
THE ID NETWORK
With THE ID NETWORK, LEGIC puts the focus on its partner network. The company has built this network over the last 20 years and intensively cultivated collaboration between partners. The advantages for all partners are vast: "With over 250 member companies today, the network is a very powerful instrument for every single partner", explains Kalla. For system suppliers if offers synergies and new business opportunities, while for end customers is guarantees security, stability and on-going innovations.
