Grandstream unveiled a new segment of innovative video encoders and IP cameras at ISC West 2009

Grandstream showcased it's new family of next generation IP video surveillance products at ISC West

Grandstream Networks, announced that they will release a new product line of SIP based H.264 IP video surveillance products aimed at serving the system integrators and professional installers market at ISC West. Grandstream Networks is recognised worldwide for their leadership in designing and manufacturing high quality IP voice and video solutions that bring industry leading innovation and compelling value.

Grandstream's new family of next generation IP video surveillance products will initially consist of a 1-port  video server/encoder (the GXV3501) and 4-port video server/encoder ( the GXV3504) as well as IP video cameras (the GXV3601). Grandstream's video surveillance products support advance d H.264 video at full rate and D1 resolution, along with SIP/VoIP for bi-directional audio monitoring/alarm/intercom and video streaming to mobile phones and video phones. They feature rich peripheral interfaces and powerful processing capabilities such as multiple input/output ports for sensor/alarm and PTZ control, SD port, USB port, integrated PoE and a universal power supply, large 24MB pre-/post-event onboard recording buffer, integrated video analytics, and optional WiFi (802.11b/g). These new video surveillance products are fully interoperable with all of Grandstream's award-winning IP video and VoIP products including the all-in-one IP PBX.

growing demand for standard based 2-way audio intercom and monitoring. Grandstream's expansion into the surveillance market space will combine best-in-class SIP/VoIP and market leading real-time H.264 video processing technologies to create a highly competitive solution for professional surveillance needs.

Samples of Grandstream's GXV3501/GXV3504 IP video encoder and the GXV3601 IP video camera will be available for purchase through Grandstream's worldwide distribution partners by the end of April. These products will be generally available in the second half of May. The list price for GXV3501 and GXV3504 are $249 and $499 respectively. The list price for GXV3601 is $449 (this price includes a high quality lens).
