LEGIC® and PCS Systemtechnik enter licence partnership agreement

Published on 20 August, 2008

INTUS 3450Munich-based manufacturer PCS Systemtechnik GmbH is Swiss technology enterprise LEGIC Identsystems Ltd's latest licence partner.  This hardware manufacture and software publisher for data collection systems is now a member of the worldwide LEGIC partner network and in future it will offer an extended portfolio of LEGIC based products and total solutions for contactless smart card technologies for personal identification.

PCS Systemtechnik already uses LEGIC technology, especially for access control, time & attendance and biometrics.  Increasing demand for LEGIC products from PCS end customers provided the initial impetus for this partnership.  Customers will now reap the benefits of a more diverse product offering based on advanced LEGIC advant technology.

Stephan Speth, Director of Marketing and New Business Lines, expects the partnership to further consolidate his own high-quality product offering: "This licence partnership provides us with access to LEGIC's renowned know-how and gives us a decisive competitive advantage over other market participants.  Our terminal systems and access readers will continue to meet our customers' exacting flexibility and security demands.  By deploying the very latest LEGIC technology, we will also be offering products which are fully fit for the future and offer a good return on investment.  Together with our customers, we will also be implementing expandable multi-application solutions."

Dr Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales & Business Development at LEGIC, is pleased with this cooperation: "I am convinced that becoming a LEGIC licence partner will further strengthen PCS Systemtechnik the position of PCS Systemtechnik as a leading supplier of time & attendance and access control solutions."
