MobileView MSS-MISC-MRT mobile radio transmitter

The MobileView MSS-MISC-MRT transmitter, with combined WiMAX and Wi-Fi radio technologies, is an ideal vehicle-mounted device for real-time information exchange, surveillance and vehicle tracking. Plus, the integration of the WiMAX and Wi-Fi radio technologies in this mobile radio transmitter not only provides long-range WiMAX connectivity but also simultaneously creates a Wi-Fi hotspot. Also, the built-in 4 port switch of the MobileView MSS-MISC-MRT transmitter allows integration of individual on-board networks like revenue, passenger count, maintenance, etc. into a single network. Moreover, this mobile radio transmitter can be easily mounted on vehicles fitted with MobileView Surveillance systems.

Model InfoMobileView MSS-MISC-MRT mobile radio transmitter operates on a wide variety of licensed and license-free frequency bands. It combines WiMAX and Wi-Fi radio technologies into one ruggedized, vehicle-mounted device. The 802.16 WiMAX segment provides a network interface with MobileView base stations installed in depots, stations and along highways. This connectivity offers the option to link the vehicle to a MobileView network while at facilities and while the vehicle is in service. The 802.11 Wi-Fi AP can be configured to provide Internet connectivity to passengers, network connectivity for employees, and access to vehicle-mounted DVR cameras in emergency situations.
