Axis Communications named as Platinum Partner of Mirasys Technology Partner Programme

Axis is now a platinum member of the Mirasys Technology Partner Programme

Mirasys Ltd, a leading provider of open platform digital CCTV and video surveillance solutions, has announced that Axis, a market leader and innovator in the network camera market, has become a platinum member of the Mirasys Technology Partner Programme.

As Axis celebrates its fifteenth year as a network camera technology leader, the evolving partnership with Mirasys demonstrates continued commitment to existing shared customers, as well as intention to develop additional integrated, open platform surveillance systems that meet growing end-user requirements.

Since its founding in 1997, Mirasys has worked closely with Axis as an Application Development Partner and by developing its open platform in compliance with Axis' application programming interface, integration between products has been simple. This has allowed both organisations to benefit from increased sales opportunities while meeting global IP standards set out by ONVIF.

A strong history of cooperation means that Axis' move to become a platinum partner of the Mirasys Technology Partner Programme signifies commitment to further joint innovation, benefitting existing shared end-users, as well as future customers. Mutual access to product roadmaps, exposure to Mirasys testing and demonstration licences, go-to-market resources and ready-made integration capabilities will also allow both organisations to ensure product compatibility as new video management solutions, hardware, and software is developed.

As well as benefitting from support during product development processes, Axis will also have access to shared marketing opportunities through the Technology Partner Programme. By increasing exposure to Axis network video cameras via Mirasys' own sales channel, potential Mirasys customers will be encouraged to consider Axis hardware to complete surveillance infrastructure upgrades or refreshes. Axis will receive priority invitations to co-marketing activities and integration project priority, as well as a named global business development contact at Mirasys.
