The upgrade revolutionises how the centre is monitored and managed, building on a foundation of full management responsibilities assumed by Amthal in 2017 and a dedicated maintenance programme initiated in 2013 to keep the system operational until the current enhancement was deemed necessary.

The system also integrates automatic number plate recognition with the barrier system to enhance vehicle access control, and people-counting technology delivers reliable data for analysing visitor trends.

Additional active deterrent measures and signage bolster site protection, while EMCS Sentry software continuously monitors hardware performance and camera availability.
Secure on-site storage ensures that all data remains directly controlled by The Maltings.

Amthal completed all installation work without disrupting The Maltings' daily operations, collaborating with Dahua and the management and security teams to ensure shoppers, staff, and tenants experienced no inconvenience.
