The ACS5000-EXP expansion chassis provides a complete UL listed enclosure and power supply to house and power ACS5000-DB and ACS5000-IO expansion boards. Up to two ACS5000 expansion boards can be mounted into the ACS5000-EXP chassis and up to four ACS5000 expansion boards can be mounted into the ACS5008-EXP chassis.

The ACS5008-E is a larger version of the ACS5000-E, with an enclosure that can house three additional boards. It also comes with the proper power supply for the panels housed in this enclosure and for most card readers attached to those panels.

The ACS5000-S and ACS5008-S control panels are shipped as complete two-reader control panels, including UL-listed chassis and power supplies, that are designed to function as a standalone ACS5000-S ACS OnSite® solution or as client controllers of an ACS OnSite Aparato™ appliance-based system.

The ACS5000-W/G wireless control panel for ACS WebService® is shipped as a complete two-reader control panel including UL-listed chassis and power supply that is designed to be connected to a Brivo ACS WebService account. One additional ACS5000 expansion board can be mounted into the ACS5000-W/G chassis. The ACS5000-W/G control panel system can support up to 14 expansion boards for up to 30 connected readers per control panel. An unlimited number of ACS5000-W/G control panel systems can be connected to an ACS WebService account for full scalability up to an enterprise level system. All antenna components are included with each ACS5000-W/G. Setup for communication to the host takes minutes by connecting to a secure cellular wide-area network.

The ACS5000-A and ACS5008-A control panels are shipped as complete two-reader control panels—including UL-listed chassis and power supplies—that are designed to work with the ACS OnSite Aparato™ solution.  Both the ACS5000-A and the ACS5008-A can support up to 14 expansion boards.

OVR WebService significantly extends Brivo’s ACS WebService, providing centralized video storage alongside hosted access control. View live or event-related video at a fraction of the cost of traditional hardware DVRs. OVR WebService is available to all of Brivo’s ACS WebService customers.

Brivo Systems LLC, leader in cloud applications for security management, recently announced the company’s release of Brivo OnAirSM version 10.11, featuring an updated User Interface (UI). Brivo OnAir is the new brand name for the former Brivo ACS WebService cloud-based access control management solution. With the introduction of this updated interface, Brivo further extends its leadership in the cloud-based access control and video surveillance space by offering a more visually rich and responsive experience for its customers. The Brivo OnAir interface is streamlined and designed for usability, reducing the learning curve and simplifying both system deployment and day-to-day security management. For the redesign project, Brivo engaged a team of user experience (UX) experts. The team conducted hundreds of hours of interviews with current and prospective users to determine how they worked. They incorporated this information into profiles of user “personas” in order to bring focus to ensuring that the resulting interface responded to the needs of Brivo’s users. A new top-level video tab provides immediate access to recorded and live Online Video Recorder (OVR) video. Simplified search capability provides a comprehensive view of access and video motion events on a timeline display; events are visually represented and prioritised using color coding, intuitive icons and other visual cues. The system landing page is optimised to provide shortcuts for everyday operations:  create a new user, find a user or a card, change passwords and search video all on this page—saving time navigating through multiple screens.

The ACS5000-E is the basic building block of any ACS5000 system. It consists of the main processing board and chassis, plus the local communications infrastructure to control up to 14 additional Door Control and/or IO modules. The main board contains two full built-in Door Control modules. The ACS5000-E uses an on-board Ethernet interface to communicate via any TCP/IP networking technology that can be connected through a hub, router or switch, including WiFi and satellite communications.

Brivo’s ACS IP Door Controller (ACS IPDC) is a native Ethernet access control panel in a compact form factor. Available as a one or two door controller, the IPDC is supported by both ACS WebService® and ACS OnSite Aparato® systems.

The ACS5000-DB dual reader expansion board provides two additional Wiegand reader inputs to the Brivo ACS5000 series control panels. Each reader node (input) provides (1) form C (SPDT) output relay for lock power switching, (1) dedicated request to exit input, (1) dedicated door position switch input, (2) auxiliary inputs, and (2) auxiliary Form C (SPDT) output relays.
