DRS Tamarisk 320 Thermal Imaging Camera with Integrated Shutter for Improved Image Calibration

The Tamarisk®640 is the latest edition to the Tamarisk® family of 17 µm uncooled thermal imaging camera modules. With four times the resolution of the class-leading Tamarisk®320, the Tamarisk®640 provides superior performance while maintaining a small size, low weight, and minimal power consumption. The Tamarisk®640 uses DRS Infrared's uncooled, highly sensitive Vanadium Oxide (VOx) detector, incorporating patented absorber technology to capture infrared energy in the 8 to 14 micrometer spectrum. Overall performance is enhanced with improvements to image quality, dynamic range, pixel saturation logic, multi-mode image contrast enhancement, and 24-bit RGB color.
