Tyco Security Products C•CURE 9000 access control solution deployed by King County, Washington for enhanced security
Tyco C CURE 9000 synthesises the data from multiple locations and provides real-time, advanced notifications to security staff
King County is using the C CURE 9000 platform to integrate its many access cards, cameras and doors

Tyco Security Products, part of Tyco, the world’s largest pure-play fire protection and security company, announced recently that King County, Washington, has deployed the C•CURE 9000 access control solution to provide a single management platform for increased security across the region.

Integrated security system

The most populous county in the state of Washington, King County is using the C•CURE 9000 platform to integrate its many access cards, cameras and doors, incident command centre and emergency notification and duress system, tying together its multiple high-rises, courthouses, county offices and transportation facilities throughout the region. With its single user interface, C•CURE 9000 synthesises the data from multiple locations and provides real-time, advanced notifications to security staff.

“C•CURE 9000 ’s integration with our Lynx Network Duress and Emergency Notification System allows us to have a powerful and automated radio dispatch system,” said Dan Kenoyer, Systems Management and Analysis Supervisor of Information Technology for King County. “This is invaluable, given the size and complexity of King County’s jurisdiction and facilities.”

With its integrator partner, SimplexGrinnell, King County is also integrating its two Sur-Gard System 5 Virtual Receivers with the C•CURE 9000 system for efficient alarm handling.
