We are very pleased to announce that Mr. Ron Martin has joined the advisory board of Secure Strategy Group. Mr. Martin currently serves as the Executive Director for the Open Security Exchange. Established in 2003, the Open Security Exchange is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-profit association of security experts that provides a forum for security firms, consultants, end-users, government agencies, manufacturers, system integrators, and allied organisations to mutually define opportunities for Physical & Logical Convergence & Interoperability.

Mr. Martin recently retired from the U.S. Federal Government where he served as a Physical Security Expert for the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Security and Strategic Information, responsible for the development, coordination, direction and assessment of nationwide physical security and Identity Management Programs. These duties included providing Physical Security Subject Matter Expertise to the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Federal Identity, Credentialing and Access Management Sub Committee (FICAM). Ron is a retired U.S. Army Officer where he served in Military Police and Comptroller assignments throughout his career. He currently serves on the Security Industry Association and ASIS International Standards Committees.

Scott Greiper, President of Secure Strategy Group, commented, “We are thrilled and honoured that Ron Martin has agreed to join our Advisory Board. Ron is one of the most visible and well-connected executives in the security industry, having helped to create many of the existing standards in federal identity management and access control. In the short time that we’ve been working together on a client assignment, I’ve see Ron drive real results in terms of contract opportunities and strategic relationships. We believe that his experience and insight will bring real value to our clients.”

“SSG provides the insight to the security industry that most people spend years trying to figure out”, stated Mr. Martin. “Their in depth knowledge of the security industry from a business development as well as a financing perspective provides incredible value to any company. I have witnessed first-hand SSG’s ability to close business and financing transactions for growth companies in the security industry and I am excited to be part of such a professional team.”
