The event will feature key international speakers from agencies around the world

BORDERPOL have announced the Preliminary Congress Programme for the 4th World BORDERPOL Congress, 8th-10th December, The Hague, Netherlands, which again sees the highest quality conference programme.

Interactive sessions and workshops

Once again the event will feature key international speakers from agencies around the world and include workshops for border protection and management agencies of critical interest in today's challenging environment.

  • Meet international colleagues to share border security issues and discuss solutions in a working collaborative environment
  • Ensure you are up-to-date on the latest issues and challenges facing the world's border management, protection and security forces.
  • Learn how future strategies and inter-agency cooperation can enhance threat detection.

Effective border security management

2015 has seen the largest movement of people in a generation caused by a number of crises in various regions around the world. It is deeply distressing to see human beings dying in deserts, drowning at sea or run over by trains simply because they seek a better existence. Today's senior policy makers are struggling to formulate an effective strategy to cope with the crisis and failing to enforce existing border and migration management laws.

Consequently there is a systemic cynicism held by many that border security and migration management organisations are incapable of seriously getting to grips with the problem and that workable strategic solutions don't exist.

BORDERPOL, the world border organisation, whose primary mission is to promote international borders that enhance human mobility, whilst ensuring traveller safety and security and facilitate smart and secure border systems, are delighted to inform you of the 4th World BORDERPOL Congress and a leading programme that aims to tackle the challenges.
