Thomas Jensen has resigned from his role as CEO of Milestone Systems with immediate effect. The company is now focused on finding a successor to lead its operations. According to a press release from Milestone's chairman, Lau Normann Jørgensen, Vice-Chairman Jeppe Frandsen will step in as the acting CEO.
In the interim, Frandsen will also relinquish his board position, while Seymour Liebman, Canon's Executive Vice President, takes the role of vice chairman.

Jeppe Frandsen, who has had a long tenure on Milestone's board, will not be a candidate for the permanent CEO position. Nonetheless, he will collaborate with the board in the search for a new chief executive. "Jeppe Frandsen will during his tenure as interim CEO work closely with the leadership team to ensure continuity and accelerate momentum. Milestone is a world leader in our industry and has a solid foundation in our strategy, offerings, and product roadmap," states Lau Normann Jørgensen.
No further details have been provided concerning Thomas Jensen's departure. However, Jørgensen acknowledged Jensen's achievements over five years, noting his role in elevating Milestone as a pioneer in responsible technology, artificial intelligence, and upholding the EU's data sovereignty agenda. "We thank Thomas for his contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavours," Jørgensen added.
Canon strengthens its role
Canon's influence within Milestone's board is solidified with the appointment of Seymour Liebman.
Jørgensen expressed confidence in this decision, noting that Liebman's presence, alongside Minoru Asada, Group Executive F&A, highlights Canon's strong commitment to Milestone's future.

”To further strengthen cohesion and collaboration across the organisation, the board of directors has agreed to initiate a search for a successor for the position of Chief Executive Officer. As a result, Thom-as Jensen has stepped down from his role as CEO. The Vice-Chairman of the board since 2015, Jeppe Frandsen will be acting CEO effective today and consequently no longer be part of the board,” writes Milestone’s chairman Lau Normann Jørgensen in a press release, which also states that Seymour Liebman, Executive Vice President at Canon, has joined the board as vice chairman.
