Swann, the provider of DIY security, debuts two new Wi-Fi cameras with Alexa Integrations that are the latest additions to the SAFE by Swann platform, the #SwannSecurityHeroes community contest, and additional promotions in honour of October's Crime Prevention Month to encourage the public to take preventative safety measures at home and work.
The new Indoor and Outdoor Wi-Fi security cameras connect to power and transmit video and audio wirelessly. Through Alexa devices, consumers can also control these cameras with their voices.
Creating safer communities
The cameras stream full HD 1080p video and record clips to local memory and secure cloud. Both cameras run on the SAFE by Swann app for iOS and Android devices. They are the perfect companions for the popular 100% Wire-Free Smart Security Cameras as they use the same app.
Swann is bringing heightened awareness of security issues and providing tips on crime prevention strategies to help create safer communities worldwide
During the month of October Swann is bringing heightened awareness of security issues and providing tips on crime prevention strategies to help create safer communities worldwide. Swann invites consumers to take an active role by entering the #SwannSecurityHeroes contest launching this month.
Crime prevention month
"We are thrilled to bring awareness to Crime Prevention Month and thankful for the opportunity to educate the public on how to keep their homes, businesses, and surroundings safe," said Jeremy Stewart, Vice President of Global Marketing at Swann.
The international #SwannSecurityHeroes campaign encourages the public to submit a video about how they secure their own home and to nominate someone from their community who would benefit from a complimentary video security system via social media. The most deserving winner will be announced for each region at the conclusion of the campaign. Consolation prizes will be announced each week. There will also be special promotions online via Swann's website and at retailers where Swann products are sold.
