Personal SASE: Cloudbrink integrates ZTNA, SWG, and more

Cloudbrink has expanded its personal SASE service with Internet security features that allow all classes of applications to be managed on one platform under a single policy for work-from-anywhere (WFA) users.

With the addition of Internet security controls, Cloudbrink now supports single-policy management of web, SaaS and private enterprise applications from a single lightweight app running on the user’s device.

In most SASE deployments, enterprise apps are managed under a zero-trust access model with access to external Internet apps handled by a secure web gateway (SWG). Cloudbrink’s Internet security allows for secure web access as defined in Gartner’s research note Critical Capabilities for Security Service Edge, using built-in policies for ease of deployment.

The new features enable customers to protect their users and endpoints from accessing malicious Internet websites. They can also consolidate their Internet security and high-performance ZTNA solutions on a single platform without resorting to performance-sapping proxies.
