| OT Systems demonstrated its full line of Ethernet transmission solutions during VocTech's grand opening |
In its continued commitment to support global partners, OT Systems, a manufacturer in transmission solution technology, recently offered an extensive Ethernet product training to security system integrators during the grand opening celebration at Cebu Technical Vocational Training and Assessment Academy, Inc. (VocTech) in the Philippines.

OT Systems was honoured to have this opportunity to sponsor and join VocTech’s big day. VocTech is a vocational, technical and assessment institute that provides technical skills programmes and short courses to local and international students in Cebu. VocTech’s management team and D-Flex Strategic Solutions Inc. (D-Flex), OT Systems’ Philippines distributor, invited OT Systems to participate. VocTech's Premises Cabling Laboratory, powered by OT Systems, is a showroom showcasing OT Systems' IP transmission solutions.
During VocTech’s inauguration, Calvin Wong, OT Systems’ managing director, offered the company’s congratulations and gave students insight into the latest global surveillance networking trends. “We are very happy to be here at the VocTech grand opening and to provide our professional Ethernet equipment in the Lab,” said Wong. “IP connectivity is a continuing trend in the industry.”
Product training and live demo
The next day, OT Systems and D-Flex had product training and gave a live demonstration to the Philippines’ security and IT systems integrators and installers in VocTech’s Premises Cabling Lab. OT Systems demonstrated its full line of Ethernet transmission solutions on different mediums for surveillance applications. During the live demo, OT Systems introduced the SuperXtra Ring topology and Surveillance Device Management (SDM) functions of the new L2+ managed Ethernet switches, new bi-directional contact closure media converters and Ethernet-over-Coax extension solutions to all attendees. “The participants were interested in our various applications for Ethernet transmission. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the international security market trends with them in VocTech’s new, state-of-the-art facility,” said Wong.
