Mobility XL, the specialist lifting solutions and vehicle access manufacturer, has teamed up with Autolift S.r.l. to provide a wider range of lifting solutions for the personal mobility, care, and general passenger transport sectors in the UK and Ireland.
Specialising in the design and manufacture of mechanical and electro-hydraulic lifts and ramps for ambulances, PSVs, train stations, goods handling, and wheelchair access, Mobility XL will work with Autolift S.r.l. to bolster sales and support services while offering Autolift’s existing products including cassette, underfloor, and semi-automatic retractable lifts.
Provides expanded product portfolio
According to Mobility XL, the new partnership will combine the strengths of both companies to supply new and existing customers with a greatly expanded product portfolio and a much-expanded support network.
In a joint statement the companies said, “Mobility XL and Autolift S.r.l. are pleased to announce that with immediate effect, Mobility XL will absorb A&S Mobility - the UK sales and service operation for Autolift S.r.l.”

Both parties are excited about the new alliance, which not only brings a more comprehensive range of innovative lifting solutions to the UK and Ireland but also adds a further operational hub in St Helens to complement the existing Mobility XL support network.
As a division of XL Global Group, the multi-faceted engineering, safety systems, and data control provider, Mobility XL works closely with sister company Access XL and draws from its engineering, fabrication, and market-pioneering commercial lift solutions. These include multi-deck, column, and retractable lifts for operators, retailers, and vehicle manufacturers in the UK, Ireland, Middle East, and Americas.
Supply and service
“Through this new partnership,” adds Mobility XL Managing Director, Paul Hemingway, “we are now able to supply and service 85-90% of all general lifting equipment requirements for the UK and Ireland.”
