Hikvision, a pioneering manufacturer and supplier of security products and solutions that deliver the ideal combination of high performance and extreme value, is excited to announce the addition of two new ColorVu camera series into its product lineup: the 7-Series Dual Light cameras and the 8 MP Dome IP cameras.

These innovative, low-light cameras join Hikvision’s existing ColorVu lineup that utilise advanced image processing algorithms and built-in lighting to provide colour images even in the darkest environments.

7 Series ColorVu dual light camera

Our ColorVu cameras are known for their ability to capture colourful details in even the most challenging lighting conditions, effectively eliminating the need for additional lighting products and their associated costs,” said John Xiao, Vice President of Marketing, Hikvision USA.

Cameras employ Hikvision’s impressive AI analytic technologies to gain insights

He adds, “These new ColorVu camera additions offer security professionals and their customers even more options for meeting their unique security objectives, day or night.”

The new 7 series ColorVu dual light camera series includes four different models, each delivering 24/7 full-colour video and images thanks to ColorVu technology: iDS-2CD7A47G0-XZHSY, iDS-2CD7A87G0-XZHSY, iDS-2CD7547G0-XZHSY, iDS-2CD7587G0-XZHSY.

Hikvision’s AI analytic technologies

These cameras employ Hikvision’s impressive AI analytic technologies to gain insights, find patterns, and discover relationships in the data to redefine and enhance security systems.

Camera features include F1.0 large aperture, a powerful1/1.8-inch sensor, and multi-intelligent functions such as facial comparison, multi-target detection, and perimeter protection.

8 MP Dome ColorVu camera

The 8 MP Dome ColorVu Camera (IPC DS-2CD2187G2-LSU) provides colourful imaging with advanced F1.0 lenses and high-performance sensors. This IP Dome camera also features efficient H.265+ video compression technology.

Pioneering ISP technology also generates precise colour to reveal clear, vivid images

Additional features include clear imaging against strong backlight with 130 dB WDR, human and vehicle target classification, and a built-in microphone for real-time audio security.

A combination of innovative breakthroughs powers Hikvision’s industry-pioneering ColorVu technology. Large F1.0 super-apertures collect more light to produce brighter images, while advanced sensor technology vastly improves the utilisation of available light.

Active alignment technology

Active alignment technology guarantees excellent quality control and focussing performance in ultra-high-definition ColorVu-enabled products. Pioneering ISP technology also generates precise colour to reveal clear, vivid images.

These breakthroughs combined enable more robust capabilities to tackle common security concerns in residential areas, office buildings, parking lots, and more.
