The acquisition, signed on 27 November 2025, will take effect on 1 December 2025. This strategic move enhances dormakaba's expertise in modernisation projects for automated access systems.
MetaMatic's expertise and contributions
MetaMatic brings substantial experience in delivering complex modernisation projects for automated door systems. In addition to modernisation, the company is noted for its proficiency in new installations, as well as the service and repair of a full range of automatic entrance systems.
Founded in 2002 and situated in Schwelm, near dormakaba's German headquarters in Ennepetal, MetaMatic currently employs 10 people.
