Comelit-PAC has provided its LogiFire wireless, addressable multi-panel fire alarm system at Augean’s Kirkby site. The system was installed and commissioned by Centurion Fire & Security to ensure the facility's compliance with industry regulations.
This installation offers comprehensive fire safety coverage, enabling both local and remote monitoring with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

The Kirkby facility, managed by the major waste treatment provider, required a robust fire protection solution.
To achieve this, Comelit-PAC and Centurion Fire & Security collaborated to install a system that aligns with the highest standards of fire safety, as outlined in BS 5839-1:2017.
The wireless technology facilitated a swift installation, ensured reliable protection, and provided scalability options for future site expansion.
Installation process and integration

To augment fire safety, thermal CCTV cameras were strategically placed around external areas for both perimeter security and early fire-risk detection. External manual call points and sounder VADs were also installed to provide prompt emergency alerts.
These systems were integrated into a centralised platform, ensuring Augean has the flexibility to manage its safety solutions from any location with comprehensive operational visibility. This dual protection approach has both enhanced site safety and eased management processes.
