3VR, the video intelligence company, and BCDVideo™, a global provider of IP security storage and intelligent building network solutions, announced recently the availability of 3VR’s VisionPoint™ VMS video management software on BCDVideo’s Evo Series and Nova Series video recording servers. The partnership will enable 3VR and BCDVideo to offer a combined VMS and server/storage solution that’s cost-effective and scalable.

BCDVideo’s Nova Series, powered by HP, is designed specifically for enterprise IP video surveillance applications such as 3VR’s VisionPoint VMS. The Nova Series is a next-generation server, encompassing 6G SAS technology that enables higher bandwidth and allows for more cameras per server at higher resolutions.

BCDVideo’s Evo Series is a cost-efficient bundled appliance solution that includes a combination recorder/viewer, network switch and 21-inch monitor. It is purpose-built to support up to 16 cameras running VisionPoint software. The entire hardware solution is backed by a global five-year on-site warranty.

“We are excited to work with 3VR on their build,” said Tom Larson, BCDVideo’s Director of Global Accounts. “By making the 3VR VisionPoint VMS available on both the Evo and Nova series, we can cover the full spectrum starting with small environments to larger environments that require huge terabytes of storage. Customers will also benefit from 3VR's market-leading analytics that run on the same server.”

As a video management software partner of BCDVideo, 3VR’s VisionPoint VMS will now be loaded on the Evo Series and Nova Series and sold through one of BCDVideo’s key distribution channels, Anixter.

“The integration will allow for wider accessibility to 3VR’s VisionPoint VMS,” said Masayuki Karahashi, 3VR’s Senior Vice President of Engineering. “This will increase visibility for our joint solutions in the channel and strengthen our partnership.”

3VR offered live demos of VisionPoint VMS on BCDVideo’s Evo Series at the ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits 2013, a key annual event for security professionals. Visit www.3vr.com/asis2013 for more information.
